I'm Ananya!
I'm 17 and am a 1st generation member of the UK's first gyarusa - HIBISCGYARU. I created this blog in the hope that I can do a bit more for the gyaru community and create a more prominent presence there (it sounds fun to have a blog!).
I live in quite a 'traditional' area in England, so being part of a gyarusa, with connections to different countries all over the world, makes it seem like I'm part of a big family, outside the constraints of where I live.
Gyaru isn't just a fashion statement, or a fad, its more like a lifestyle, a way you live; its not all about what you wear or what you look like, but about presence, your own confidence and above all, being part of a huge community that supports and helps one another.
